The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution was adopted on December 15, 1791.  This amendment states:
 
“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

Practical Action Shooting Clubs hold matches that take place on obstacle-laden shooting courses called stages.  Each stage requires 6 to 30 shots to complete.  Scoring involves 3 elements - speed, accuracy and power.  The score is points-per-second, with points deducted for missed shots.  For more information on this discipline, please check the United States Practical Shooting Association web site.
