Bring your firearm and at least 50 rounds of appropriate ammunition with you.  Become comfortable with how to safely use a firearm.

Winter Hours and Weather

posted Jan 28, 2020, 6:24 AM by William Tocci   [ updated Mar 13, 2020, 8:47 AM ]

Our winter hours, open from 1000-1400 on range days, have been in effect since December 2019.  Unfortunately, the weather has significantly affected the number of days the range has been able to be opened.  We've had a foot of snow on most parts of the range including the access road and in the shooting stations both covered and pistol bays.

The City plowed the road and Keith Heimes, Club President, used his tractor to open up the parking area and a portion of the covered line for use.  With reasonable weather, we've had a number of members who have been able to use the range.

We will be available for all the open days we can be but, we are weather dependent at this time of year.  Watch the website and our FaceBook page for range status.

Work Party

posted Sep 4, 2019, 3:00 PM by William Tocci   [ updated Nov 20, 2019, 6:59 AM ]

Last month, a work party was held to firm up the platforms under the shooting benches.  Nine members worked to add supports to the front and back of each bench to hold our pavers in place.  Future projects include lining out a 25 yard pistol bay for training and practice, renovating the wooden topped picnic tables and getting our access road graded.  The Board is working on making this a better range for all of the members.

Please close the gate....

Cattle closure currently in effect.  Because cattle are grazing in the vicinity, when the range is OPEN,  the entry gate will be closed but UNLOCKED.  If the sign is out, come on in but swing the gate shut behind you until further notice.
